Project Spotlight: Quail Run Kitchen Remodel (Photos)
Here is a beautiful kitchen remodel in the Quail Run Subdivision in West End Henrico. Our client had bought this colonial style home and wanted to redo the kitchen prior to moving in. The old kitchen was closed off to the family room by an obtrusive wall of cabinets.
We demoed the entire kitchen, including the tile floor, creating a blank canvas for the new design. New hardwood flooring was installed and blended into the existing hardwood in the family room. It is truly amazing how seamless it blended in. Next, we raised the profile of the beam. We added recessed lighting and under cabinet lighting. The range was moved to the opposite wall and added venting for the new range hood.
Finally, the new ivory painted shaker style cabinets with glass doors and stunning granite tied it all together. Let’s not forget about the double sided island and hanging pot rack that adds an additional level of functionality and elegance.
This one is sure to be one of our favorites for some time.
